2017 Philmont Trek

Trek dates are June 15-27, 2017. Troop 102 has a reservation for TWO crews for a 12 day trek.
Each crew is 7-12 members each so there is a total minimum of 14 and total maximum of 24 crew members. Currently I have 12 scouts and 6 adults signed up. Minimum age is 14 or 13 AND completed 8th grade.
Crew requirements: http://www.philmontscoutranch.org/Camping/WhoCanCome/CrewRequirements.aspx

The philmont fee is $895/crew member plus travel and expenses. I am estimating the total cost to be approx. $1200/crew member. This is an estimate & depends on several factors.
In order to keep our reservation, the troop must pay our deposit by the end of Jan. 2016. Therefore, each crew member will need to submit a $100 deposit NLT Jan 19th.
In order to help ease the family financial burden, I am proposing a payment schedule of $100/month per crew member January thru October 2016. With a final payment due in Nov. 2016 depending on final crew budget estimates.
If you wish to remain on the crew, please submit your $100 deposit to the troop/Ms. Ginnie by Jan 19th.
